Shipping policy

For retail customers, we offer free shipping on all products.

Plants may be trimmed for better root development or when required for shipping.
To maintain freshness and shipping quality, we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Please place orders by Thursday for shipment the following week. Orders placed after Thursday may ship one week later.

Wholesale customers may choose from at-cost shipping, free pickup, or local delivery options.

Wholesale Pickup By Appointment
If you select pickup, we will reach out to you with instructions and to arrange a pickup appointment at our farm, available during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

Wholesale Shipping
For all customers, we ship trays Monday-to-Wednesday through common carrier ground services, and will charge for the cost of shipping plus a box fee. This is to make sure that there are no delays in the arrival of your live plants.

We ship within a two-day ground radius to the following states: CT, DE, DC, GA, IL, IN, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, WV.

We do not currently offer shipping via motor freight.

Wholesale Delivery
We deliver to the Hudson Valley, Westchester, NYC, and western Connecticut, to zip codes beginning with 10-, 111-, 112-, 113-, 114-, 124-, 125-, 126-, 067-, 068-, and 069-.

Minimum order for delivery is $750. There is a flat $50 delivery fee for orders under $1500. 

FREE DELIVERY on orders over $1500 .

All delivery orders must be able to be received on Wednesdays or Fridays. Orders may be delivered as early as 6:30 AM.

If you select delivery, we will reach out to you to confirm a delivery date.

For large orders outside of our regular delivery zone, please send us an inquiry to Plants@treadlight-farm.com.

Returns & Cancellations
We can only accept returns for local wholesale customers (pick-up or delivery), and only for products that are defective in type, form, or quality.

All cancellations initiated by the buyer after 24 hours of order placement are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This is because once we have your order, we remove it from our available inventory and work to prepare your plants for shipping.

Items that have already shipped cannot be cancelled or refunded.
