Plantain-leaf Pussytoes, is a charming, deer-resistant native wildflower that thrives in dry parts of our mixed woodland understory. This low-growing perennial produces delicate, white flower clusters atop a rosette of soft, fuzzy, blue-green foliage. Maxing out at about 12" tall, it can form small colonies over time, and can take root in shallow soils, making it useful in shaded rock and woodland gardens. It is a larval host plant for the American Painted Lady butterfly.
