Lanceleaf Coreopsis is a vibrant perennial wildflower featuring bright golden-yellow cosmo-like flowers in late spring. This hardy, plant does best in full sun and well-drained soil, where it sends out long, straight, smooth stems without a lot of foliage that might otherwise crowd out neighboring plants.

Wonderful for gardens or meadow mixes, it also makes a wonderful cut-flower.Growers should definitely add this to their crops as an annual, perennial, or, preferably, a fall-planted biennial, best harvested when the flower centers are still tight.

Not considered native to New York, it nevertheless has a wide native distribution in eastern North America to our South and West.
