Euthamia graminifolia, or Grass-Leaved Goldenrod, looks very different from other goldenrods, with its fine foliage and flat, rounded flower head. This hardy plant thrives in various soil conditions and attracts masses of insect pollinators throughout late summer and fall, as well as birds feeding on its seeds, typically seen scattered throughout farm fields, meadows and forest edges. It can grow with some shading but prefers full sun.

It may spread by rhizomes or seed itself around, and can grow aggressively, so may not be suitable for small spaces.

Works nicely as a cut-flower in foliage, bud, or flowering stages. If cut as foliage, it may be harvested multiple times throughout the growing season.
