Lobelia siphilitica, or Great Blue Lobelia, is an easy-to-grow Lobelia with a bushy appearance and vibrant blue-purple blooms. This North American plant thrives in moist, shaded environments and reaches heights of 2-3 feet, making it an excellent choice for most gardens with some shade. Blooming from mid-summer through fall, it attracts many kinds of pollinators, including hummingbirds. Hardy and low-maintenance once established, it can form small colonies and may self-seed. Makes an excellent cut-flower.
