Pale Spiked Lobelia is the most elegant and delicate of the Lobelias. It is smaller in stature, only reaching about 2' tall, and blooms earlier than other species, starting in late spring. It is easy to grow in the garden and works well along borders in full or partial sun. Next to bigger neighbors, it will likely disappear from view in mid-to-late summer.

Despite its size, it makes an excellent cut-flower like other Lobelia species.
