As its name suggests, Seedbox has one of the most distinctive fruits we've ever seen - nearly a perfect cube. This versatile plant is at home in wet prairies and on the edges of ponds and swamps. Early in the season it sends up 2-3' stems with willow-like foliage and yellow flowers on a red stem. Excellent for wetland restoration, pond edges or rain gardens. Once its 'boxes' have formed, it makes an interesting fresh or dried cut-flower.
