Spiraea tomentosa, commonly known as steeplebush, is unlike most spiraea species with bright pink flower spikes that bloom mid to late summer on single, 3' stems that tend to form colonies. This hardy, under-utilized perennial thrives supports loads of pollinators and thrives in wet soils that get full sun.
